Hi, I am from Nipissing First Nation but I live and work in Alberta. I work for the Awo-Taan Healing Lodge Society, which is a Native Women's Shelter so it is very nice to read material where the men can look for help also. It is also a good place for women to check out and find out about the Kind Man. Most have only negative things to say about men in general. This site can teach that there are a lot of men who are not abusers but actually practice the Seven Grandfather teachings. Che-Miigwetch for all the great work you do.

Very nice pictures, resource material. I would suggest that each First Nation community submit a pic of about 100 youth and 1000 mentors on this site. (Does that sound impossible?) That would be making a powerful statement for others to follow walking the healing path without any form of violence.

The website is very informative and the cultural component excellent. Great Job!! Chi-Miigwetch The only thing I found hard to see are the comments written by the other guests because of the dark red background combined with the black font colour. Other than that Chi-Miigwetch
