 | Role Model: Jordan Wessman My name is Jordan Wessman. I am from the community of Cochrane. I am 16 years old. I got nominated by the Ininew Friendship Center. My hobbies are biking and snowboarding. I like to play hockey. The most important thing about being a role model for my community is setting good examples for the younger youth. My hope for the future is that men and women stop abusing each other.
|  | Mentor: Howard Archibald My name is Howard Archibald and my spirit name is SEA TURTLE. I’m from TAYKWATAGAMOO NATION near Cochrane Ontario. I work for the Ininew Friendship Centre and I enjoy fishing, canoeing and sharing/teaching cultural awareness to youth and I enjoy playing baseball. Being a mentor allows me to demonstrate for the youth/community the importance about passing/sharing the teachings. My hope for the future is for our youth and my grandchildren to carry on with the teachings and their role as people/person within their family and/or community. |
