Welcome to the I Am a Kind Man Kids website.
I Am a Kind Man comes from the Ojibway phrase Kizhaay Anishinaabe Niin. It reminds us that Aboriginal traditions do not support abusive behaviour and that we must respect ourselves and others.
This website helps kids understand when they are being abused and when they are abusing others. It offers great tips for working through anger and other normal feelings and shows us how to be a good friend to others.
If you are being abused, it’s important to know that it is not your fault. You are not alone. Click here to find help.
